This spot is a hidden gem that’s a two-for-one location – beach and boardwalk! The beautiful boardwalk flows seamlessly onto the beach. I love capturing candid moments along the boardwalk as we head towards the ocean for classic Hamptons beach family photos.

Egypt Beach, East Hampton

Egypt Beach is another amazing two-for-one location on my list of best places in the Hamptons for a family photo session. This beach features beautiful dunes in the foreground, creating a stunning setting. And if you drive just up the road, there’s a stunning golf course with a picturesque wooden fence that’s perfect for wrapping up your photoshoot with a different vibe. Your friends will all be asking you where your photos were taken! This spot truly wins my “Best of Golden Hour” award, offering that warm,golden glow in the backdrop of your photos.

For anyone seeking a truly unique photo spot in the Hamptons, Montauk Point Beach and Lighthouse delivers a real life “end of the earth” vibe. I love snapping pictures with the iconic lighthouse as a backdrop and exploring the rugged, rocky beaches (the flat rock piles are classic Montauk beach!) and lush greenery that surround it. It’s an adventurous and distinct choice for your family’s photos.

Sarah & Kevin – Maternity Session – Montauk

Meadow Lane Boardwalk, Southampton

This spot is incredibly special – so special, in fact, that it doesn’t even have a formal address. Meadow Lane Boardwalk offers the most photogenic backdrops from literally any angle. You’ll be surrounded by nature’s beauty, making this one of the best Hamptons locations for a family photoshoot at sunset. While the beach area is on the smaller side and on the bay, it boasts shallow waters and beautiful shells, perfect for little ones to explore.

Sagg Main, Sagaponack

Every aspect of Sagg Main is beautiful – even the parking lot! We can wander onto the beach to capture some stunning photos, then wrap up the session amidst the picturesque dunes around the parking lot. Truthfully, I often find the dunes by the parking lot to be just as captivating as the beach itself!

Haven’s Beach, Sag Harbor

This location is absolutely worth the trip! I especially love capturing photos in Sag Harbor Bay with the charming boats in the background. Fun Fact: The sun sets perfectly just behind the tall grass! The long, narrow beach here is ideal for those classic family walking or running photos – plus, the kids usually love collecting seashells along the way! If you want to and utilize the classic wooden bench seating we can end the session with some relaxed portraits.

Old Town Beach, Southampton

Old Town Beach offers a lovely, leafy green walkway leading to the sand, surrounded by stunning dunes. Once we’re on the beach, the backdrop includes gorgeous Hamptons homes, adding a touch of elegance to your family photos. Old Town Beach is another location with a photogenic parking lot! I always love to steal a few photos in front of the wooden fence in the parking lot. This Hamptons location is always a favorite for creating beautiful, lasting memories.
